Villa Egenhofer
Villa Egenhofer
The construction of this house focused on achieving the structural simplicity necessary for a clean and modern execution, despite the highly complex design elements. It was a constructive challenge to combine this structural simplicity with the technical peculiarities required by the project:
1. Corner Windows: Creating the invisible glass corners required extreme precision in the structure and the joinery, ensuring watertightness and the absence of visible structural elements.
2. Large Openings and Concealed Joinery: The need for the joinery to disappear completely within the walls involved the appropriate sizing of the openings and the provision of technical housings in the structure for the tracks of the large-format sliding windows.
3. Large Pergolas: The construction of the large pergolas covering the terrace areas was resolved with clean structural solutions, minimizing the visual impact of the supports and maintaining the overall lightness.
Overall, the project demonstrated the technical capacity to execute a modern design that requires precision, structural minimalism, and detailed solutions in the building envelope.
