This home marks a milestone in local sustainability as the first PASSIVHAUS PLUS certified residence in the Marina Alta area, an achievement that led to the renewal of our certification by the Passive House Institute (PHI). The architectural design focused comprehensively on extreme efficiency.

To ensure compliance with the rigorous PHI standards, an exhaustive study of the building envelope was conducted, applying high-density exterior insulation to facades, roof, and beneath the foundation itself. Airtightness was guaranteed through an interior primer applied meticulously to seal any pore in the structure. Crucial to efficiency was passive solar protection, achieved through precise control of openings, strategic orientation of the home, and installation of exterior sliding venetian blinds that allow management of solar incidence. This design is completed with the integration of high-efficiency ventilation and climate control systems, ensuring constant interior comfort with minimal energy consumption.
